What is a typical service like?

A First Baptist Church Elk City service is about 70 to 80 minutes in length.  Services usually begin with the FBCEC Worship Ministry leading the church in music. Song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and engage in the worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service is complete, our Senior Pastor will teach on a section of scripture, called expository preaching. Every sermon is based on the Bible and focused on the Good News of Jesus.

What is the clothing style like at FBCEC?

Come as you are and expect to be welcomed as our guest. Most people dress casually. Some people enjoy wearing traditional Sunday clothes, but this is the exception rather than the rule. As with every area of life, we want to honor the Lord and respect one another in how we dress.
